UGC NET 2023 Qualification
- A Master’s degree, or its equivalent, in the pertinent stream, with a minimum of 55% marks (or 50% for ST/SC/OBC/PwD), from a board or university recognised by the UGC, is required of candidates.
- Candidates who are appearing in their final year of the qualifying test may also apply.

UGC NET 2023 Exam Pattern
The UGC NET December 2023 will be administered in CBT format from December 6 to December 22, 2023. All of the exam’s questions will be multiple choice, or OMR sheet based. The exam will consist of two papers, however there won’t be a pause in between. The exam will last three hours in total. There will be two shifts for the examination. In the UGC NET exam, there is no negative marking.

UGC NET 2023 Age Limit & Age Relaxation
The age restriction for the UGC NET December 2023 Junior Research Fellowship has been maintained at 31 years of age. While there is no age restriction for assistant professor positions. According to government regulations, the maximum age limit has been given.
- The JRF has a maximum age limit of 31 years, but the Assistant Professor has no age limit.
- According to the Government guidelines, there will be an age relaxation.
